a little history

Schapiro’s animates the Jewish/Eastern European flavors that have defined the area for over a century. The eatery’s nostalgic-industrial ambiance was crafted with salvaged scraps and artifacts from iconic LES businesses, and the bar itself was partially constructed from reclaimed wood from Schapiro’s Winery.
